This multi-media PSA campaign encouraged American families to take small steps within their current lifestyles – versus making drastic changes – to ensure effective, long-term weight control.

The launch coincided with a study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Journal of the American Medical Association that found that 400,000 deaths in the U.S. were related to poor diet and physical inactivity. Only tobacco use caused more deaths (435,000).

The effort consisted of TV, print, outdoor, PR and got an unexpected boost (or should we say roast?) from Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.
